"I Can't Find My Blog In The Search Engines"

"How Come I Can't Find My Blog In The Search Engines?"

Why Doesn't My Blog Show Up In The Search Engines?

How Come I Can't Find My Blog On The Web?

Here are some questions that you should be answering:

  • What is your blog about?

  • What search terms did you type in the search engine to find your blog?

  • How many pages of search engine results did you look at?

  • How many "hits" did the search engine list? Over a million or less than that?

  • How old is your blog?

I'm Being Criticized!

As I have posted before I participate in some of the Blogger.com help boards. I'm now being criticized for answering some of the older posts - say like 15 days old (and some older) that haven't had any replies to them.

I just don't understand this kind of reasoning. I mean if someone makes a post and no one replies to it doesn't that make it look like no one has taken the time to even look at it? If I can answer the post then I do - especially if I have something relevent to add. There have been times when I have answered an older post and someone has either emailed me or posted a comment to this blog either thanking me for answering their post or asking me for more information.

All of this started around the time that I started talking about their being a bypass for the bx error code problem and I came to find out that Blogger.com was not aware of there being such a procedure - so I didn't mention it again UNTIL someone brought it up on the boards!

So I'll just have to see how this kind of thing "pans" out!

How Did I Learn HTML And How Long Did It Take Me To Learn It?

So many people are posting about how they want to change and/or modify their blog's layout - and this usually involves working with the html coding of the blog.

Those that are new to html coding get frustrated when trying to change the layout of their blog.

Personally I think that html coding can be difficult for any beginner! One mis-placed character and you could mess up your whole page!

I have gotten to the point where I can do html editing in the Window's notepad program BUT it took me a while to even get to that point! When I first started working with html it was way back with AOL's AOL Press program - which I think that I still have on my computer! Basically I learned html by trial and (a lot of) error and the most ironic thing is that even if you think you know it all - something new comes along!

So even though I can be pretty good at html coding I'm still learning.

If you're new to html coding then you might as well relax and "enjoy the ride" because this is something that just cannot (generally speaking) be learned in a day!

I Have Started A New Blog - My BX Error Code Blog

I have decided to start a new blog called My BX Error Code Blog.

It is not an official Blogger.com blog but I decided to start it because of the many people that have been posting about the error code problems that they have been having with their Blogger.com blogs.

I just hope that this blog will provide a good place for people to find out more about the bx error code problems that they have been having and also to compare it with other people who are having the same problem(s).

I just started the blog so it will take some time for the list to get more full.

As a matter of fact this will be a very daunting task because there are so many bx error codes out there!

Increasing The Traffic To Your Blog...............

I just posted to my Adsense Consultant blog about how I'm working on increasing the traffic to one of my client's blogs.

I thought that I would provide a link to that post because regardless of whether or not you have adsense on your blog, one of the things that you will want to work on is increasing the traffic to your blog. In the case of adsense, the more traffic your blog gets the more potential clicks your adsense ads will get.

However if you don't have adsense on your blog then it is still important to increase the traffic to your blog. It doesn't even have to be for financial reasons. Let's say that your blog touches on a very topical subject - so the more people that know about your blog - the better!

Clients - The Computer Brother - Step 2 - Increasing His Traffic

I just posted an entry on my Adsense Consultant Blog about one of my clients - The Computer Brother. Here is a link to that post:

Increasing A Client's Blog Traffic

It doesn't matter whether or not you have adsense added to your blog because almost everyone would like their blog to have more traffic and more visitors to their blog. Sometimes people try too hard to accomplish this and they start to get frustrated.

I'm going to be working closely with this client since the next step is to increase the traffic to his blog. I have started to monitor his traffic numbers just to see where his traffic numbers were as opposed to what they are now. I have sent him an email giving him one thing that he can do to start increasing his traffic and I'm going to just how well this "one thing" works by monitoring his traffic.
