Word Verification?

It just goes to show you that you learn something new everyday!

There was the "word verification" that was a mandatory requirement of one of my client's blogs whenever they wanted to add a new post to their blog.

Although the word verification was a nuisance I just figured that it was there because of some option I put on when the blog was first started.

However now I find out that the reason why the captcha is there is because the blog is still considered to be a spam blog. (I figured as long as the new posts and changes to the blog were being shown that everything was alright). Blogger.com even posts a link just in case you want an answer to "Why do I have to use word verification?". So this particular time I decided to read and then that's when I found out that the blog was being considered as a spam blog!

So I submitted the information that the form asked for. Since I just submitted it today I think it will be a few days before I get a reply.

So for those who have been wondering about that word verification thing - hopefully this explains what it is all about and how you can get rid of it!

If you have a blog on Blogger.com you know that your blog posts appear with the most recent post at the top. However there are some people who would like the oldest post to appear at the top of the blog.

I always wondered if this was possible.

It is possible but with a caveat. You have to manually enter in the dates yourself. There isn't an option in Blogger.com that lets you put your oldest posts at the top and your newer posts on the bottom. You have to manually do that yourself by changing the date in the "post options" options.

How Do I Add A Photo To My Blog?

Well if you want to add photos to your blog posts then you have 2 options, you can either upload a photo from your hard drive or you can provide the link to your photo if its already online.

What you have to do is when you sign on to Blogger.com and click the link to add a new post is to click on the little "picture" icon - I think its the 2nd one from the end - and that will take you to the link where you can either upload or put in the url of the photo that you want to add.

If you want to add a photo to the side of your blog then you will have to have that photo hosted on a site like Photobucket.com which provides you with the link to link to your photo.

Poll Results So Far! - About Blogger.com's BX Error Code Problem

So far the poll results show that the majority of people who voted believe that there is no bypass procedure for the bx error code problems that I have posted about on my own BX Error Code Blog.

Since I have been posting about these bx error code problems I have found out that someone else has found a different way as to how to get out of the bx error code problem. However their method involves being able to get out of the bx error code screen BEFORE you can change it.

A few people have voted that they believe that Blogger.com knows how to get out of the bx error code screen but they are just not telling their bloggers how to do so. Personally I find that hard to believe. Why would they keep it to themselves? It would make a lot of Blogger.com bloggers happy if they knew how to get out of those bx error code screens when confronted with them. I have even had a few people tell me that they think that the "techies" at Blogger.com already know how to get out of the bx error code screens.
