How Do I Paste The Adsense Ads On My Blog?

Generally speaking when you have signed up with and approved by Adsense you go through the process of picking out certain aspects of your adsense ads - ie color, size, etc. However you don't get to pick what specific ads appear on your blog because that will be determined by the content on your blog!.

Once you have gone through the above process of picking out certain aspects of your blog, you will be given the html coding that you are going to have to copy and paste to your blog. WHERE you paste the coding is going to depend on where you want your adsense ads to appear!

So it is very important that you have at least a little knowledge of html coding because if you put that Adsense coding in the wrong place it could mess up your entire blog!

Now if your blog is on Blogger.com then they make it a little easier for you. You can always copy and paste the coding yourself but if you would like Blogger.com to add the adsense ads for you then you have the option of doing it that way AFTER you have given Blogger.com permission to access your Adsense information!

"Can You Honestly Make Money With Your Blog?"

of course this question has been asked a lot

and here is my reply:

Honestly you can make money with your blog! What a lot of people do
is to use Google's Adsense program - where you put ads on your site
and when (legitimate) visitors to your blog click on those ads you
then earn money!

Here are some facts though

You have to earn at least $100 minimum during the month before Adsense
will issue you a payment the next month. You can get paid either by
regular check or by bank transfer. In some areas outside the US you
can also get paid via Western Union!

And yes there have been some Adsense Millionaires!

Of course there are other ways as well.....

There are other "affiliate" sites out there where you can earn money
by placing ads on your site but be sure to check out the "fine" print
because not all of them are worth it!

There is also a site called "Pay Per Post" where you earn money
posting reviews about other products, etc.......

You can even make money from your blog if it is very popular. For
instance Perez Hilton started a celebrity gossip blog and he now
charges $6k a week for advertising! Plus he got his own TV show out
of it!

So it is quite possible to make / earn money with one's blog.

Adsense Has Their Own Newsgroup!

I don't know if you know this or not but Adsense has its own newsgroup! While this newsgroup is just a reposting of the entries made to Adsense's own official blog it may be easier for some people to be able to get to and view this newsgroup.

Alas while this is a newsgroup and there is the option of adding your own replies to the topic threads, your replies will have to be approved first and so far I haven't seen any replies approved.
