Checking Your Adsense Numbers

One of the first things that I do when I go online in the morning is check my adsense numbers. That's when you log into your adsense account and look at your earnings for the day so far. I checked my earnings for today and as I get closer and closer to that $100 minimum amount needed to get an adsense payment for the month I also notice that I am becoming more and more anxious at the thought of checking my adsense earnings!

Before it was a mad scramble just to get to the $100 minimum needed to get an adsense payment. Now I'm at the point where I have to exceed the earnings amount that I got from last month - even if its only by one dollar!

My adsense earnings for July 2007 are almost double what my adsense earnings for June 2007 were and while that is great news it does kind of put the pressure on to exceed your last month's earnings!

There is a very big debate going on now about how one should not solely depend on Adsense as their only means of income. In some ways I do agreee with that but I'm also thinking that if you can make a significant amount with adsense can't you save some of it while you live on a budget? Of course that may sound silly to those that just want to spend, spend, spend - but those that are making over $10,000 a month with adsense surely they aren't spending it all or are they?
